ARCHITECTURE & ENGINEERING

1. Your concept is put on paper through meeting with experienced designers that will listen to your ideas and figure out how to make them functional.
2. Preliminary designs are submitted for your review to develop the concept
3. The design is Value Engineered in order to ensure it conforms to your budget PRIOR to the production of final drawings.  This crucial step is sorely lacking on many projects due to the corporate separation between design pros and contractors.  
4. A Final Design is produced and submitted for client review.
5. Construction Drawings showing plans, elevations, dimensions, building sections, details and calculations are produced for submission to the DOB for an approval.

We work in tandem with structural and mechanical engineers to design functional buildings and mechanical systems.  Our construction experience gives us a unique perspective and we convey our working knowledge to the designers during the design process.

Shop Drawings are required to illustrate layouts, assembly methods, position, dimensions and are usually required when you need to know how something will be built but it doesn't need to be official.  

We produce Site Safety Plans and other documentation that is required to be onsite by NYC and other local building departments.

If you want to know what your project will look like, we produce all manner of renderings.  We use the latest technology and software to create photo-realistic computer generated images.  For projects that don't require absolute realism, we can produce near realistic renderings in Sketchup or by hand.  We can materialize any concept in digital space or on paper.

All professional services are performed by or under the supervision of a Registered Architect or Professional Engineer certified in the state that the project is performed.
